-SHIBNOBI PLAY: When the initial version of Play releases tomorrow, users will be able to create their universal Shibnobi accounts, test out the social media aspect of the platform, and participate in free matches against one another.
The Credits system will be disabled for the first two weeks while users explore the site and provide feedback/report issues to the team through Play’s support section. After about 2 weeks, the team plans to enable the Credits system for users to begin wagering on their matches.
-SHIBNOBI NFTS: BOGO (buy one, get one) was set on Shibnobi NFTs after last night’s AMA, and will run until tomorrow night’s AMA (Sept 29 at 10 pm EST)! If you still don’t own 50 NFTs, this gives you another amazing opportunity to do so! Visit nftmint.shibnobi.com to mint!
Q: Exactly what time will Play go live tomorrow?
A: An announcement will be made sometime tomorrow regarding the time Play will go live.
Q: Will we be able to watch Play matches?
A: Yes, if the match is streamed. Players can choose to hold matches privately as well.
Q: Can multiple people participate in a wager match?
A: Yes, currently the max is set to ~128 participants per match.
Q: Will Shibnobi Play support cross-play (matches between different devices)?
A: Yes, as long as the person who creates a match allows for it to be cross-play.
Q: Will we be able to stream solo games on Play?
A: Cliff will confirm with the team if this will be supported or not.
Q: Is Play set up to be direct competition with Twitch?
A: No. Play is a skills-based wagering platform. We are using other services, including Twitch, to support streaming.
Q: Has the team reached out to any well-known gamers to promote Play?
A: The team is currently in talks with a few.
Q: Will there be video tutorials covering Play?
A: The team is putting some together, but they won’t be ready at the launch of Play.
Q: Can the team add support for Halo to Play?
A: Virtually any game can be added, so the team will add this to the list if it isn’t already on it.
Q: Has there been any update on the remaining tokens stuck in GoldFarm’s staking contract?
A: Unfortunately, we have no way of retrieving those tokens. We’ve reached out to them on multiple occasions about the issue, but have received no response. They have abandoned the project and community altogether.
